Water-cooled builds only. This is the WB (water block) version: the card is covered by a full-cover copper water block with G1/4 fittings and has no fans of its own. It must be plumbed into a custom water-cooling loop (pump, radiator, reservoir and fittings, not included). It is not a plug-in air-cooled card.
The card came from a computer store that closed down. It has been opened but never used — the protective caps are still on the display outputs and it sits in its bag in the original AORUS box.
What cover comes with it.
No manufacturer warranty is claimed. The box advertises a 4-year GIGABYTE warranty (online registration required), but the serial number dates this card to 2018, so that warranty should be treated as expired. Austral Prime gives no extra (express) warranty of its own.
Australian Consumer Law still applies. Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law: the card must be of acceptable quality, match this description and be fit for purpose, for the length of time that is reasonable for a product of this kind, age and price. If it has a major failure you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
What is not covered: change of mind; the card not suiting a system without a water-cooling loop (disclosed above); and damage from installation, leaks or loop faults after delivery.
