§ II   About this stock

Discontinued JCC Standard-range stemmed track spot — a drop-mounted commercial accent.

The JCC JC14033 is the Standard-range mains-voltage halogen adjustable track spotlight on a 300mm stem — a drop-mounted commercial accent head from JCC's discontinued Standard track family. The 300mm stem is the whole point: it lowers the adjustable head well below the ceiling so the beam clears high shelving, gantries, signage or double-height joinery and reaches the target cleanly. Running at mains voltage, it needs no transformer and clips onto a standard three-circuit track. This kind of stemmed head was a staple of warehouses, showrooms, large-format retail and commercial display where the ceiling sat too high for a flush fitting. This holding is supplied complete with its original halogen lamp.

This is genuine new-old-stock (NOS) surplus: 47 unused units carried over from JCC distribution, each a long stemmed fixture at roughly 45 × 8 × 8 cm and about 0.5 kg, held ex-warehouse in Leicester, United Kingdom and photographed against its box labels for the buyer pack. The manifest records this as pre-2015 UK stock supplied with a halogen lamp — which places it before the relevant lamp cut-off dates, so it is legal sell-through inventory rather than restricted stock. A trade buyer can sell it as-is with the original lamp, or swap the end user onto an LED GU10 in the same holder without touching the fitting; the GU10 base is the most widely retrofitted lamp format on the market.

For the trade, the value is a working quantity of a specialist stemmed head. Drop-stem spots are harder to source than flush heads and are exactly what a contractor needs when maintaining or extending a high-ceiling display scheme — a generic short spotlight simply will not reach. When an operator is matching an existing Standard-range installation, the original stemmed heads are the correct fitting, and because the range is discontinued there is no current-catalogue equivalent to compete on the exact article. Forty-seven matched units is enough for a real project, an export pallet or a steady trade-counter line. It also complements the other mains-track and stemmed heads elsewhere in this parcel.

Commercially, the JC14033 is offered as UK surplus / liquidation stock for trade and resale only. It is not a retail product and is not sold as a stand-alone line: it forms part of Austral Prime's JCC commercial lighting whole-lot bulk package — roughly 8,585 units across infrastructure, fittings and architectural hardware, supplied as a single lot for GBP 8,500 (ex-VAT) ex-warehouse Leicester. The whole-lot structure lets one buyer take the entire discontinued JCC range at clearance economics and then place individual lines — stemmed spots, reflector heads, downlights, feeds — into their own retail, refurbishment, retrofit or export channels at trade margin. UK supply is subject to VAT at the standard rate (reclaimable by VAT-registered buyers); exports removed from the UK may be zero-rated on valid evidence.

In service, the stemmed halogen head has an effortless LED path. An end user who buys the fitting with its supplied halogen lamp can drop in an LED GU10 at any time and cut the fixture's energy draw by roughly eighty to ninety per cent while keeping the same stem, head and beam geometry that already suit the space. That makes the JC14033 a genuinely current, sellable luminaire rather than obsolete stock: the fitting is timeless, and only the lamp technology moves on. Holding both the fitting and a legal pre-ban lamp gives a reseller two ways to close — complete as-supplied for a like-for-like repair, or as an LED-ready upgrade. The long stem is also the part that dates and corrodes least, so even a fitting held in surplus for years installs as a sound, serviceable asset with no refurbishment needed.

That is the quiet strength of discontinued specialist track fittings as a resale category: demand from installed-base maintenance is steady and finite surplus of the less-common shapes rarely reaches the open market. Taken inside the JCC whole-lot package, the JC14033 gives a wholesaler a defensible, low-competition line to list against searches such as ‘JCC 300mm stem track spotlight’ or ‘mains halogen drop stem spot’, while the bulk clearance economics protect resale margin. For businesses running a circular or refurbishment model, re-lamping to LED and re-deploying the head is also a clean sustainability story to take to end clients.

Buyers who typically move stock like this include electrical wholesalers, lighting contractors and electricians, retail and warehouse fit-out firms, JCC-system maintenance specialists, eBay and trade-counter clearance sellers, pallet and job-lot liquidation traders, and export resellers shipping into the EU or Australian markets. If the JC14033 or the wider JCC fittings group fits your book, the full per-SKU manifest — quantities, locations, dimensions and box-label photography — is available on enquiry. Title and risk pass on dispatch from Leicester; buyers collect or arrange their own freight. Sale is ‘as is’, on documentary (not third-party audited) evidence, with photographs supplied ahead of commitment.
