§ II   About this stock

Discontinued JCC Mini LV track hardware — 100 units of spec-matched surplus.

The JCC JC15116 is a component from JCC's Mini LV (low-voltage) Track Range, the small-profile 12-volt track system JCC built for retail display, cabinet, gallery and residential accent schemes before the range left the catalogue. Unlike some of the thinner spares in this parcel, JC15116 comes in a genuinely useful quantity: 100 units of new-old-stock. Each is a light, flat part measuring roughly 13 × 8 × 2 cm at about 0.1 kg — the sort of small connecting or terminating hardware that a track run needs several of, and that always runs short first when a system is being repaired or extended.

That volume is what makes JC15116 more than a token line. A hundred matched, JCC-original Mini LV parts is enough for a maintenance contractor or spares dealer to actually service jobs from — not just cover a single repair. Because the Mini LV profile is JCC-specific, generic substitutes do not fit, and JCC no longer produces the range, so anyone maintaining these installations has no current-market equivalent to buy against. This is a passive hardware component with no lamp and no electronics, sitting entirely outside the lamp bans and Ecodesign rules that affect some lighting stock. There is nothing here a UK or export buyer cannot legally hold, resell or install.

Low-voltage track is far from redundant in service. It remains the preferred answer wherever fine, glare-controlled accent light is wanted — jewellery and fashion retail, museums and galleries, hotel lobbies, reception joinery and premium residential display. A great many of those installations have already been re-lamped from halogen MR16 to modern LED MR16 and G4 heads, so the track, its feeds and its connecting hardware keep working long after the original lamps were retired. That LED retrofit dynamic is exactly why legacy track components still sell: the infrastructure outlives several lamp generations, and each re-lamp cycle creates fresh pull for matched spares.

Commercially, JC15116 is offered as UK surplus / liquidation stock for trade and resale only. It is not a retail product and is not sold as a stand-alone line: it forms part of Austral Prime's JCC commercial lighting whole-lot bulk package — roughly 8,585 units across infrastructure, fittings and architectural hardware, supplied as a single lot for GBP 8,500 (ex-VAT) ex-warehouse Leicester. The whole-lot structure is intentional: one buyer takes the entire discontinued JCC range at clearance economics, then places the individual lines — track components, spotlights, downlights, ceiling plates — into their own maintenance, refurbishment, retrofit or export channels at trade margin. UK supply carries VAT at the standard rate (reclaimable by VAT-registered buyers); exports removed from the UK may be zero-rated on valid evidence.

The commercial logic of discontinued-range spares is simple: demand is inelastic and supply is finite. This is ex-catalogue, ex-distribution closeout inventory — surplus that rarely surfaces on the open market in this kind of matched quantity. Held inside the JCC whole-lot package, JC15116 gives a wholesaler a genuinely stockable line to list against searches such as ‘discontinued JCC Mini LV track’ or ‘JCC low-voltage track spares’, while the bulk clearance economics protect resale margin across the parcel. For a business running a circular or refurbishment model, keeping legacy lighting infrastructure alive is also a clean sustainability story for end clients — repair and extend rather than strip out and landfill.

There is a further, quieter advantage to a matched hundred of a small connecting part: components in this class behave like consumables in a maintenance operation. They are the pieces that get cut, damaged or lost during a strip-and-refit, and the ones a contractor is most often caught short on mid-job. A stock of 100 correct Mini LV parts therefore represents years of a small installer’s throughput, or a ready buffer a spares dealer can draw down against repeated small orders. Being a 12-volt part, it is also unbound to UK mains conventions and travels easily, which keeps the export route open for a buyer consolidating mixed lighting stock for shipment overseas. Light, flat and stackable, it adds almost nothing to the freight or storage footprint of the parcel.

Typical buyers for stock like this are electrical wholesalers and independent factors, lighting refurbishers, JCC-system maintenance specialists, pallet and job-lot liquidation traders, and export resellers shipping into the EU or Australian markets. At 100 units, JC15116 is one of the more resaleable Mini LV lines in the parcel and pairs naturally with the range’s spotlights, feeds and terminating parts to build a complete legacy-system spares kit from a single source. If the JCC infrastructure group suits your book, the full per-SKU manifest — quantities, locations, dimensions and box-label photography — is available on enquiry. Title and risk pass on dispatch from Leicester; buyers collect or arrange their own freight. Sale is ‘as is’, on documentary (not third-party audited) evidence, with photographs supplied ahead of commitment. Register interest in the lot below and the full trade pack follows by return.
