§ II   About this stock

Discontinued JCC 3-circuit right-side tee connector — spec-matched junction spare for legacy grids.

The JCC JC88009 is the right-side 'T' connector for JCC's mains-voltage 3-circuit track system, the professional retail and commercial track that carries three separately switchable lighting circuits in a single extrusion. A 'T' connector is the part that lets a designer branch a spur off the side of a straight run, forming a tee junction so a second track leg can reach across an aisle, into a bay or along a perpendicular wall. On a 3-circuit track that junction is more demanding than it looks: each of the three live circuits, plus neutral and earth, has to carry through and out to the branch in the correct order, which is why the connector is handed. The right-side version routes the circuit sequence for a branch taken to the right, and only the matching JCC part will preserve the intended switching across the whole layout.

This holding is genuine new-old-stock (NOS) surplus: 219 unused units carried over from JCC distribution, split 169 in black and 50 in white so an installer can match either the dark or the pale track already fitted on site. The black units measure roughly 17 by 11 by 5 cm at about 0.2 kg each, and the white units run close at 17.5 by 10.5 by 4.5 cm and about 0.3 kg. The stock is held ex-warehouse in Leicester, United Kingdom, and photographed against its box labels as part of the buyer pack. As a passive connector with no lamp and no driver, the JC88009 sits entirely outside the lamp bans and Ecodesign rules that affect some lighting stock, so a UK or export buyer can resell or fit it without restriction.

For the trade, the value is in specification matching. When a retail chain, a supermarket, a showroom or a commercial fit-out has an existing JCC 3-circuit track grid and needs to add a branch, re-route around a new fixture or repair a failed junction, the correct handed tee connector is the only part that fits, and JCC no longer makes it. A maintenance contractor holding these discontinued JCC track junctions has no direct current-market equivalent to compete against, which is what turns spec-matched spares into a durable resale line rather than ordinary clearance. Because the tee is handed, right and left versions are usually specified in pairs across a large installation, so a reseller stocking both the JC88009 and its left-side partner can supply a complete junction kit from one source.

Commercially, the JC88009 is offered as UK surplus and liquidation stock for trade and resale only. It is not a retail product and is not sold as a stand-alone line: it forms part of Austral Prime's JCC commercial lighting whole-lot bulk package, roughly 8,585 units across infrastructure, fittings and architectural hardware, supplied as a single lot for GBP 8,500 (ex-VAT) ex-warehouse Leicester. The whole-lot structure is deliberate. It lets one wholesale buyer take the entire discontinued JCC range at clearance economics and then place the individual lines, tee connectors, feeds, downlights and ceiling plates, into their own maintenance, refurbishment and export channels at trade margin. UK supply carries VAT at the standard rate, reclaimable by VAT-registered buyers, while exports removed from the UK may be zero-rated on valid evidence.

Three-circuit track remains a workhorse of commercial lighting because it lets one physical run drive three independently controlled scenes, day display, evening ambience and cleaning light for example, without extra wiring. A great many of those grids have since been re-lamped from halogen and metal-halide spots to modern LED track heads, which means the track and its junctions carry on working long after the original lamps were retired. Holding the correct tee connectors lets a contractor extend or reconfigure those circuits as a store is refitted, rather than proposing a costly full strip-out to the client, which is also a cleaner sustainability story to take to an end customer.

That is the quiet strength of discontinued-range spares as a resale category: demand is inelastic and supply is finite. This JC88009 holding is ex-distribution closeout inventory, the kind of surplus that rarely reaches the open market in usable quantity. Taken inside the JCC whole-lot job lot, it gives a wholesaler a defensible, low-competition line to list against searches such as discontinued JCC 3-circuit track connector or 3-phase track tee junction, while the bulk clearance economics protect the resale margin. Buyers who typically move stock like this include electrical wholesalers, lighting refurbishers, JCC-system maintenance specialists and export resellers. The full per-SKU manifest, with quantities, locations, dimensions and box-label photography, is available on enquiry. Title and risk pass on dispatch from Leicester; buyers collect or arrange their own freight, trade only, sold as one lot on documentary evidence with photographs supplied ahead of commitment.
